PUBLIC NOTICE

REQUEST FOR
PROPOSALS (RFP)
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION, HANDLING, TRANSPORTATION, AND DISPOSAL SERVICES

The Warren County Board of Supervisors will receive sealed proposals from qualified and properly licensed contractors to provide household hazardous waste collection, handling, transportation, and disposal services for a County-sponsored Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day.
Proposals will be received by the Warren County Purchasing Department, 913 Jackson Street, Vicksburg, Mississippi 39183, until 10:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at which time proposals will be publicly opened and acknowledged.
Proposals may be submitted either:
 By sealed envelope to the address listed above, or
 Electronically via the County’s procurement portal at www.centralauctionhouse.com
All proposals must be clearly marked:
“RFP – Household Hazardous Waste Services”
A complete Request for Proposals package, including specifications and proposal documents, may be obtained at no charge by visiting:
www.centralauctionhouse.com and locating the appropriate RFP listing. Registration with a valid email address is required.
Proposal packages may also be requested directly from the Warren County Purchasing Department at the address listed above or by calling 601-638-7428.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a proposal surety in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) in the form of a bid bond to the Warren County Board of Supervisors.
The successful contractor may be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in accordance
with applicable laws.
This procurement is conducted in accordance with Miss. Code Ann. § 31-7-13. The Warren County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to determine responsible proposing companies, responsive and most advantageous proposal(s), invite bids from multiple contractors, reject any and all proposals or bids and
waive minor informalities in the proposal and bid process. Warren County reserves the right to award a contract to the contractor(s) believed most advantageous to the County, with price and prior experience
considered.
This notice is published pursuant to an order of the said Board of Supervisors dated the 20th day of January 2026.
